The Sienna Academy
For Painting Therapy and Artistic Painting according to the method of Liane Collot d’Herbois
The Sienna Academy is starting a new Painting Therapy Training in March 2008; located in Mapleton on the Blackall Range, Sunshine Coast, Queensland. It will be taught in 5- week blocks twice a year over a period of 4 years. Painting and drawing exercises form the main part of the course.
Other Subjects include: Light, darkness and colour in relationship to health and illness; Medical studies; Life phases and biography; Training the senses; Understanding the process of illness in the human being; Observation and analysis of client’s works.
The course would be of interest to health practitioners; nurses; people working in the care profession; psychologists; counsellors; teachers and art students.
Other activities include: Foundation course; Artistic weekends; Individual painting therapy sessions; the sale of original paintings, prints and cards.
The Sienna Academy is affiliated to The Emerald Foundation in The Netherlands.

BASED ON THE WORK OF RUDOLF STEINER
Parsifal College is an International Adult Education Centre, based in Sydney Australia. We offer accredited full and part-time courses based on the work of Rudolf Steiner.
Our Advanced Diploma in Rudolf Steiner Education is a unique and creative pathway to becoming a Steiner teacher. Graduates who have gained entry to a University level Bachelor of Education course have received up to two years advanced standing for this course.
The first year is delivered at the leafy campus of Inala school at Cherrybrook and comprises the Certificate IV in Anthroposophical Studies, with its emphasis on self development. The second year is delivered by Glenaeon School Middle Cove. The degree is completed in the usual 4 years. The course can be completed part time.
We also offer a
• Certificate IV in Anthroposophical Studies (F/T 1 year or P/T)
• Certificate III in Children’s Services (P/T 1 year)
• Certificate IV in Steiner Early Childhood Education (P/T 1 year)
• Holiday Intensives for teachers
• Non-accredited courses of general interest such as biodynamic farming, the arts and individual development.
Australian students studying full time accredited courses may apply for AUSTUDY/ABSTUDY. We welcome full-time overseas students.

A Comprehensive Steiner Teacher Training During School Holiday Blocks
Offered by Glenaeon School Glenaeon School Teacher Training
Course will be delivering
small modular week- long holiday units so that teachers from
Steiner Schools who feel that they would benefit from intensive
study and support in a particular class or aspect of teaching
can also attend. It will still be possible to do the whole Advanced
Diploma course over one year (dependent on number of enrolments),
two years or attend chosen sessions.
Those who wish to work towards
an accredited Advanced
Diploma of Rudolf Steiner Education and university entry would
need a full 1 year Anthroposophical Studies or Orientation Course
prerequisite first. Enrolment in individual curriculum weeks
has no prerequisite requirements for teachers. Those who attend
individual weeks will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

Melbourne Rudolf Steiner Seminar
The Melbourne Rudolf Steiner Seminar offers a unique human education in art, science and philosophy. Our courses are based on Rudolf Steiner's spiritual-scientific view of the human being as an enlightened thinker in an intelligent universe.
The seminar is a Registered Training Centre founded in 1968 and the courses offered are for students interested in Anthroposophy, artistic development, individual self-development and teacher training in Rudolf Steiner education
