About the RSSA Members Area

How do I Join?

To register your details at the RSSA Members Area, you must be working (or serving on the board) in an RSSA Member School or Organisation. If you are, then it's as simple as following the links on the right to register your details. Once you have been registered and you details have been confirmed with your school or organisation, you will automatically be given access to the RSSA Shop, the Documents Area, and whatever other service the RSSA offers online in future. Registering your details here, also allows your RSSA Webforum account to be approved and gives you access to the appropriate boards.

Does joining make me a member of the RSSA?

No. The 'Members' of the RSSA are the schools. Individuals cannot become members in their own right.

Joining gives you access to the services provided to people working in member schools, although you do not become a member individually. This is why it is necessary to confirm your details with a referee in your school during the registration process.

I've Registered. Why can't I get into the Webforum?

Registering your details here does not automatically give you an account at the webforum. For various reasons, we decided it was best to keep the accounts separate. If you've registered your details here, head on over to the RSSA Webforum and click 'Register'. Once you've entered a few details (a lot less than the Members Area!) you're done. If your Members Area account has already been confirmed, then your webforum account should be activated in the next day or so. Otherwise, be patient while we contact your referee, and both your accounts should be activated soon.

If you are working in an RSSA Member School, you are eligible to join one of our groups. Once you join and your details are confirmed, you will be able to access the RSSA Documents Area and the online discussion Forum.

Important: We will not sell or distribute your information outside of the RSSA without your express permission. Read our Privacy Policy to find out what we do with your information.
