We are seeking a part time Kindergarten Assistant, to start term 1, 2010 to work in our Kindergarten here at our Mt Helen Campus.  The hours of work in the kindergarten are dependent on the number of sessions offered and may vary from year to year.  In 2010 it is expected that there will be 17 – 25 hours work a week.

Preference will be given to someone who has completed either the part-time or full-time Anthroposopical Studies/Rudolf Steiner Education course, together with having experience in working with young children.

Key Selection Criteria

• A love of Children
• An ability to communicate with both children and peers in a gentle, warm and open manner
• To be prepared to deepen the theoretical and practical understanding of the foundations of early childhood Steiner Education.
• Have a certificate III in Child Care Services and a working with Children and Police Check.
